Have a 330xxx SA that I have shot for years, years ago back in the early 80's. It was rebarrelled at some time, 1919 barrel that is very worn, finish matches well so I assume this rifle has been shot a lot. But thanks to the cmp the value is ruined.

The most common problem with this system is jamming. I can imagine it drove the soldiers crazy.

I love sporterized military guns as a deer hunter they are one of my favs because I love surplus rifles I know I’m only 24 but I’m like a veteran I have respect for military rifles I have a sporter O3A3 which I love that my grandad sporterized back in the day and despite the fact that it has been reblued it has become my primary hunting rifle oh and it has a custom timney trigger the stock is a aftermarket Monte Carlo sporter but all else is original and matching nonetheless I’ve killed so many deer with it are sporters the future unfortunately yes because that’s just what they did back then to make a cheap effective hunting rifle and now that most people want something modern you can find tons of sporters around most of which aren’t in great condition I happened to find ones that are in good shape that I still have but it was hard and took a lot of looking around

The locking slide on it is upside down and I want to fix it but having no luck finding out and I don't want to damage anything.

It's not the boomers. Prices are where they are because people are willing to pay today's prices. If the economy ever tanks, people max their credit cards, and need money to pay mortgage and buy food, prices will come down.

Not all troops were issued jungle boots.The black leather boots which required huge amounts of shoe polish to look presentable, but they went well with starched sateens and were standard issue as far as I know.
